We will visit the memorial plaque of Mahatma Ghandi Raj Ghat, a magnificent park dedicated to Nehru Shanti Vana, the main town mosque Jama Masjid, Red Fort – the famous Red Fortress with eighteen kilometers of walls. The Qutab Minar Mosque will fascinate us, it was
built in 1199, it has the tallest brick minaret in the world. We will also visit the tomb of

soldiers in the Afghan wars and the First World War, the Presidential House, the Parliament, the Lotus Temple and much more. We will then go to the modern part of Delhi, Connaught Place, where we will take the metro from the ultra modern metro station, which will take us to the Chandi Chowk Bazaar, which is in Old Delhi, with typical narrow streets and bazaars. After a walk along the bazaar, we will take you to the Khari Baoli Spice Market, a huge spice shop, with home-made spices. Return to the hotel and rest.
Drive from New Delhi to Agra
During the journey we will visit the abandoned capital of Mogul Fatehpur Sikri. Because of the lack of water, the rulers had to move the capital, but we still can admire the well-preserved architectural creations of that time.
After the arrival to Agra we will take a short rest and then head towards the most famous Indian fortress, the Agra fort, one of the most beautiful Mogul fortresses in India, built on the banks of the Yamuna River by Mogul’s ruler Akbar.

The light is the symbol of knowledge and conciousness. During the celebrations the temples, homes, shops and offices are brightly illuminated, and the locals will be greeting you in the street with »Happy Diwali!«
