For 20 years now, the International Yoga Festival takes places in Rishikesh the first week of March. It brings hundreds of practitioners and presenters from all over the world to this holy city. We will attend the festival for one day (a daily pass is included in the price of the program).

We will also have the opportunity to experience the colorfulness of the festival Holi!

Holi is an Indian holiday, known as »the festival of spring«, »the festival of colors« and »the festival of love«. It announces the beginning of spring, the end of winter, the blossoming of love, but above all, it is a happy holiday of playfulness and laughter, forgiveness, and repairing broken relationships. On this day, people will throw colors at you, maybe even spill a bucket of water on you, but it’s all about laughter and fun 😊

In Rishikesh, there are many options for trips, hikes, rafting, visiting the national park, or just enjoying the many caffes and restaurants. The river Ganges is pretty clean in this part, and you can take a bath in it. It is believed this will erase your karma. Rishikesh is known as the world capital of yoga, and it’s one of the holiest cities. It’s completely vegetarian – meat and alcohol are forbidden by law. There is also the iconic ashram, where in 1968 The Beatles stayed and meditated. It was one of their most productive periods. The ashram was named after them: The Beatles Ashram.

Day 15 – Wednesday, 11.3.

Drive from Rishikesh to Delhi and flight from Delhi back to Venice.
